City Mask Mandates and Tournament Updates
CITYWIDE MASK MANDATE
Of course, this isn’t the direction we were hoping to go, but the City of Fayetteville has instituted a new mandate starting Friday, August 20, 2021 that requires people to wear a mask in public and private indoor spaces if you are around members not of your household. So ALL classes and days will require masks for our students and our family members at the All-American Fencing Academy.
Whatever your belief, the All-American Fencing Academy has either or both through luck or diligence have not had any COVID-19 cases and we would like it to remain that way so we can continue to have regular classes. I appreciate everyone’s cooperation when we previously were required to wear masks for everyone and ask that you help out again.
GREENSBORO TOURNAMENT
Isabelle and I plan to travel to Greensboro to help coach any students that are planning to compete. This is a great tournament and a great location with great people. Please let us know if you plan to compete so we can prepare equipment to travel. Events are $10, face masks are required. We are figuring out the registration process, once I have it, I’ll let you know. These are the events:

Teen/Adult Mixed Epee: 12PM
12 and Under Mixed Youth Foil: 12PM

REGIONAL YOUTH CIRCUIT AT APEX
There will be a Regional Youth Circuit at Apex Fencing Academy on October 2-3, 2021. This is a larger, regional event. You MUST have a USA Fencing Competitive Membership to participate in this event. Registration deadline is September 12, 2021. Tournament fee is $35 and event fee is $45. Additional details are available here: https://member.usafencing.org/details/tournaments/4447
