It’s USA Fencing Membership Update Time!
The All-American Fencing Academy is a USA Fencing Member Club and to maintain our good standing with USA Fencing, all students MUST RENEW and be members of USA Fencing (you’ll remember doing this when you first joined the club). It is now that time of year…PLEASE RENEW your USA Fencing Membership!
Visit http://member.usafencing.org/ to renew your membership.
**NOTE: Membership Extension Policy- A new or first-time upgrading member whose annual dues are paid during the last four months of the membership year (After April 1, 2021) shall be entitled to a membership through the next membership year.
There are new options for Memberships! Please review the options, and I’ll explain the differences. Remember, if you do end up doing a sanctioned event, or a national event, you can always upgrade later.
NON-COMPETITIVE MEMBERSHIP
Cost: $10
This is the minimum ALL of our students must have! Basic membership for training at USA Fencing clubs, this membership does not permit eligibility to compete in any sanctioned USA Fencing tournament. Most All-American Fencing Academy members will probably renew this membership. Non-competitive members can upgrade to Access or Competitive membership at any time.
ACCESS MEMBERSHIP (This is new)
Cost: $25
If you have participated in our santioned events and plan to participate in tournaments in other clubs, we recommend getting this membership. Access members are eligible to compete at sanctioned local tournaments, including division qualifiers, throughout the season. Free admission to all USA Fencing national tournaments and a digital subscription to American Fencing magazine are also included. You must upgrade to a Competitive Membership if you decided to do Regional or National events (events that you would normally register through USA Fencing and not ASKFRED.)
**Access members may upgrade to a Competitive membership at any time and be eligible to compete in regional and national tournaments.
COMPETITIVE MEMBERSHIP
Cost: $85
Competitive members have the right to enter and compete in local, divisional, regional, and national-level competitions.
