Three North Carolina fencers have been named to the 2016 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Team, as announced by the conference. Freshman Matthew Garrelick and sophomore Matthew Shlimak were named to the men’s team and sophomore Meredith Bozentka was named to the women’s team. All three earned the honor for the first time.
