All the Pisacafe and Homeschool coaches met over the weekend to hammer out some details. I’ll know next year to wait to schedule my events, but typically those events align with the school year athletic calendar, so I’m a little early.

We will still host our event this weekend but will just be a scrimmage. The other clubs are still building/re-building their homeschool fencers, so I’ve asked them if they don’t have a complete team yet, any team will do.  Homeschool format may change this weekend.

So, this weekend, Saturday, September 9, 2023:
8AM: Elementary and Middle School fencers
1PM: Homeschool fencers

Saturday, October 28, 2023: Greensboro Fencing Academy
Saturday, November 11, 2023: Location TBD (Coach will not be able to attend)
Saturday, December 2, 2023: Location TBD (If no other club will host, AAFA may host)
Saturday, January 13, 2023: Cape Fear Fencing Association (Wilmington)
Saturday, February 10, 2023: Barber Park (Greensboro, NC)
Saturday, March 2, 2023: All-American Fencing Academy

Veteran ROC at Forge Fencing Academy at Durham, NC
The Vet Men’s Epee is up to 9 fencers, but the Vet Men’s Foil is still at 4 fencers. The deadline to register is September 10, 2023. If the numbers don’t go up for the Vet Men’s Foil, Coach Gerhard may not attend.
