Beginner Armoring Clinic

Your foil keep setting off white lights?  You’re epee won’t register touches?  Want to replace your guard?  Completely broke the blade and want to know what parts you can re-use?

Ben Fouty will be hosting an Armoring Class on May 12, 2018 from 10am-12pm at the All-American Fencing Academy. This class will teach you how to build, repair, and troubleshoot a weapon. You will complete the class with a complete working competition weapon (foil or epee) to keep with some extra repair parts.

This class is good for students of all ages and any skill level and would also recommend parents participating with their children. Children between ages 7-12 will require parent participation.

Registration DEADLINE is April 27th. This will allow us enough time to order all the equipment and have it delivered.

Class fee: $80 (fee will be used to purchase your weapon pieces)

If you have these tools, we recommend you bring:
-lighter
-jewelers screwdriver set (can be found at Dollar Stores)
-2 pliers
-allen wrenches
-hacksaw

We’ll supply everything else.
