Congrats To Zion! He Earns His Epee D Rating!

Congrats to Zion who competed in the foil and epee events in Wilmington over the weekend.

Zion placed 5th in the Open Foil and 10th in the Open Epee.  The open epee event ended up as an A2 rated event, so Zion’s 10th place earned him a D rating.

Isaac also fenced over the weekend and tied for 3rd in the open foil event.  Isaac and Zion both had byes in the first round.  In the second round Isaac (6th seed) upset Zion (3rd seed) to enter the semi-finals.  Isaac lost to Apex Fencing Academy’s Anton Prut in the semi-finals to secure the 3rd place tie.
