Epee Class Thursday – Coach Gerhard Will Be Late … And Other News

EPEE THIS THURSDAY WILL JUST BE OPEN EPEE FENCING AT 7PM
This Thursday, August 16, 2026, Coach Gerhard will be late for the epee class.  We will just have open epee fencing starting at 7PM.

All other classes are not affected on Thursday.

RENEW YOUR YOUR USA FENCING MEMBERSHIP

**NOTE:  Membership Extension Policy:  A new or first-time upgrading member who joins USA Fencing between April 1 and June 30 of the current membership season shall be entitled to a membership for the remaining months in the current season through the next membership season.

82nd OPEN: EQUIPMENT FUNDRAISING TOURNAMENT
Last year’s equipment fundraising tournament was a massive success.  Please try to register now for our Fundraising Tournament on August 22, it will also serve as our season opener.  Event fee is $25 and any other donation if you wish to donate for our equipment fundraiser.

REFEREE CERTIFICATION CLINIC WITH RYLAN DELAP
Many of our fencers participated in this referee clinic last time at Apex, NC.  They not only did they do the clinic, they were also able to do the practical at the end of class and be observed for their L2 rating.  We’ve lost some fencers due to college, and I always like to hire our students to help referee local tournaments, homeschool tournaments, and Pisacafe tournaments.  Greensboro and Wilmington also thinks highly of our referees and often hires them as well for local, homeschool, and Pisacafe tournaments.  Please consider doing the Referee Clinic, more info:  https://www.askfred.net/clinics/e419f735-ad0a-4e5a-88e1-683b11c02776
