Merry Christmas!
I wrote this 2 years ago, but I finally got a friend who’s a professional voice over artist to record it for me.

As I mentioned in the Christmas Party, I’m thankful for everyone. No matter how difficult my day may be, being at the fencing academy and working with athletes and families always brightens my day.
We have so many accomplishments throughout the year, I can’t remember them all, but here are some:
1. New classes with Coach Gabriel
2. Isaac qualified for Junior Olympics
3. Solid homeschool fencing team
4. Fencers re-earning their rating, Andrew Iford and Colton Culliton earning brand new ratings.
5. More fencers competing in Local and Regional events.
6. Fencers continuing to fence in college.
7. Brand new signage for the school, custom gloves, and upgraded Fencing Time software as a result of a small business grant.
8. Fencers taking referee classes to get a referee rating.
9. Many new fencers!
10. Upgraded competition equipment.
I’m sure there’s many more. And we’ll continue to grow in small ways. Thanks to all the fencers that have been with us for so many years, especially to the fencers that started young and still fencing with us through middle land high school. We’ve seen you grow and become accomplished fencers!
Unfortunately, also this year, we lost Coach Gerhard’s coach, Coach Ron C. Miller, to cancer.
We look forward to another great year and we look forward to seeing fencers who get new fencing gear for Christmas! 🙂
