Tournament Announcement and Start of Homeschool Season!

Good Luck To Fencers Fencing At Apex This Weekend!
Good luck to Jullian and Isabella, both are fencing in the Senior Mixed Foil event, currently an A2 event.  Coach Gerhard will be fencing in the Vet Combined Mixed Foil event.

Elementary, Middle, and Homeschool Events on Saturday, November 14th!
The elementary and middle school foil events are part of the Pisacafe Series, and we hope to see other fencers from other clubs.  The 14th will also be the official first tournament of the season for homeschool fencers.

Register Online:  https://askf.red/u7vs5
Elementary School Foil:  8:30AM
Middle School Foil:  8:30AM
Homeschool Individual: 11AM
Homeschool Team: 1:30PM (all homeschool fencers)

For this season, we will only field one homeschool team (as opposed to previous years, where we fielded 2 teams).  This will give us the best opportunity to always have enough team members to be able to be able to attend the tournament.  But the opportunity to sub fencers and give developing homeschool fencers to fence in tournaments if we are fencing other beginner homeschool teams.  If you are a teen homeschool fencer, be available to fence, support, and possibly sub in for tournaments.

I’ve also started giving all our homeschool fencers the required paperwork for the North Carolinians for Home Education Athletic Commission, please return those to me!

Congrats to Justin Campbell!
Justin took 12th in the Senior Mixed Foil and 7th in the Div3 Senior Mixed Foil at the Tiger Open on October 31st.
