WEEKEND TOURNAMENT RESULTS!
Some students competed this weekend at the 2nd circuit event of Pisacafe Circuit Event. Congrats to Callaghan Young and Daniel Wisniewski who took 2nd in the Elementary and Middle School events, respectively. Isaac Canady took 1st in the individual homeschool event. And the homeschool team (Caleb Bruno, Isaac Canady, and Elinor Morkos) took 1st in the homeschool team event.

The two foil events explained:
Senior Mixed Foil: (Born 2009 or earlier) All fencers, all ratings are fencing. May be more difficult with higher rated fencers. Coach, Gabe, Isabelle, and Andrew Iford are currently registered for this one.
Div3 Senior Mixed Foil: (Born 2009 or earlier) All fencers, only fencers with D, E or Unrated are fencing.

Coach will only be there on Saturday and Sunday

Which event should you do if you meet the age requirements of several events? First, experience is experience, and a challenge is a challenge. If you think challenging yourself against really tough fencers, then it’s always good to fence tough fencers. That being said, the Junior age level event will probably be the most difficult event. If this is your first National/Regional event, I would consider doing the Div2 event. Gabe will be doing the Div2 men’s foil event.

There will be no classes on November 24. During that week, here is when Thursday classes can come in:
-Thursday Youth can come to class on Tuesday, November 22, 6PM.
-Thursday Adult epee can come to class on Wednesday, November 23, 6:15PM
December/Christmas Class Schedule
There will be no classes between the week of Christmas and New Years. We will do open fencing for all ages and weapons on Wednesday, December 28, 2022.
I know everyone has been asking about it. Our annual Christmas party will be on Friday, December 9, 2022, 6:30pm-8:30pm.
