Weekend Recap

Just quick recap from the weekend. All referees and coaches thought we had some great fencing over the weekend! Everyone looked really good and fenced really well, unfortunately, not everyone can take 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place. But don’t let the final places say how well you did, because I felt everyone fenced well!

We had a few of our new fencers come out and we were glad to see them and get their first experience in competition!

Our group of men’s seniors did really well! They fenced really well against some of our vet fencers that have returned from college. Congrats to Jack who defeated Gabe in both the pools and elimination rounds, then he continued to defeat Bruce in the final elimination round. Also congrats to Seth who tied for third place losing in the semi-final round to Bruce 14-15.

In the women’s event, we had 5 fencers. Congrats to Gabriela who tied for third place!

Lastly congrats to Daniel Wisniewski for taking first in the youth foil event!
