Wilmington Recap
Wilmington ran one big pool of 9 fencers for the Senior Open. In the pools, Gabe only took 1 loss and Lily only took 2 losses. We left the pools with Gabe seeded in 2nd, Lily seeded in 3rd, Isabelle seeded in 4th, and Mesha seeded in 8th. Gabe eventually took 1st and Isabelle tied for 3rd. Lily took 5th and Mesha took 8th.
In the DIV3 Mixed Foil, Coach Gerhard took 2nd place, while Gabe tied for 3rd. Isabelle took 5th, Lily took 12th, Mesha took 14th, and Elinor took 15th.

Greensboro Elementary/Middle School Events and Home School Events this Weekend!
For those that will be fencing in the Greensboro Elementary, Middle, and Home School events this weekend, Saturday, October 28, 2023, make sure you have all necessary equipment before you leave after your class this week!
You will carry your own uniform. If there are pieces you don’t have, make sure you borrow one for the weekend:
-Mask
-Jacket
-Plastron/Underarm protector
-Chest protector (women only)
-Glove
-Knickers/Fencing pants
-Bring your own knee high socks
I will bring:
-Weapons
-Body cords
-Mask cords
