Happy New Year! Still No Heating and Upcoming Tournaments

Welcome to the New Year!  There were so many things going on during the holidays, I didn’t get a chance to open the fencing club for some open fencing.

Congrats to Isabelle Guevarra, Isaac Canady, and Lily Kube for completing the Referee Training with Lisa Campi-Sapery.

For classes and our tournament this weekend, be aware that we are still working on our heating unit (there is a part that needs to be replaced, or the whole unit needs to be replaced).  We hoped to get this done during the holidays, but alas, we could not.  So if you’re not fencing, it might be cooler than you are used to in the fencing room.  For the fencers, it starts to feel fine once they start moving and get their equipment on!  We might also encourage sweat pants/long pants.
