OS/AH Series: August 2020, 3rd Week, Updates, and New Section!

Ok, first thing…there is a new section in our On Strip/At Home Series! We’ve added a bout analysis section where Coach Gerhard reviews a bout he hasn’t seen before. Hopefully this provides you with some insight and what Coach is looking at when you’re fencing, and how some of the stuff we’ve been doing in lessons or class applies in the real world.

Secondly, I added an parody intro and outro to this video. Our younger students may not get it, so ask your parents. : )

REMINDER: UPDATE YOUR USA FENCING MEMBERSHIP
I know I’ve mentioned it already, but it’s IMPORTANT. All fencers/students are required to have USA Fencing memberships for our club to remain in good standing. Remember, you can choose between non-competitive ($10) and competitive ($85). Renew at: https://member.usafencing.org/

FENCING EQUIPMENT
I know some of you has been to the club recently, so you’ve seen the precautions we’ve put in place. But one of the big things is reducing the amount of things we touch. One of the easiest ways, since most fencers that are there for lessons aren’t there longer than 30 minutes, is to have your own equipment.
