Re-Open Planning and Upcoming Virtual Tournament!
I’m drafting plans and policies for our re-open, if anyone has recommendations that you would like me to consider, please feel free to let me know.
Here’s the short version
According to North Carolina Government:
Phase 1: May 8-May 22
Phase 2: Maybe as soon as May 22
IF North Carolina moves to Phase 2 on May 22nd:
All-American Fencing will open Saturday, May 23, 2020 for warm up private lessons, and SOME open fencing from 10am-1pm with virus mitigation policies.
A soft open to restart classes on May 26 with the same schedule for ages and times we had before the closures.
More information to come. I know everyone is excited to return, as am I. But I want to do it as right as we can make it.
VIRTUAL TOURNAMENT, SUNDAY, MAY 17, 2020 AT 2PM

If you’ve ever played Dungeons and Dragons or Magic the Gathering, game play is someone similar.
You WILL NEED a Discord account. We play on the All-American Fencing Academy Discord server.
You will also need a 6 sided dice, a printout of the Fencers/Actions/Bonus sheet (also available at https://allamericanfencing.com/role-play-fencing/), and of course a pencil and paper!

We may be able to arrange a fencer that has played before help teach you and play single game to acclimate you. Let us know (allamericanfencing@gmail.com) if you would like to try to arrange practice game play with a fencer/player.
